Say Cheese.
Yeesh.
Anybody lookin'?
Last night I had already dodged a bullet in the parking lot of Save Mart by a fellow who came into the lot at around a million miles per hour just as I was exiting.
I'm not EVEN gonna lie.
Thank heavens for the turn of the earth.
I steadied myself and proceeded down the road.
This fellow gave me the stank eye.
Uh...okay Mr. Dents-and-Faded-Paint-In-My-'82-Corolla-Man-Person sir.
May you rust in peace.
Anybody lookin'?
Scary.
Welcome to the wide wonderful world of 2014.
Just between you and me?
I'm WAY tired of 2014.
Everyone driving is preoccupied with everything except looking around and proceeding in a safe fashion.
I feel like a guy who already might be dead and who is attempting to write you from the great beyond.
Seriously.
2014.
Yeesh.
Moving On, Part One: 2014 indeed.
How do we deal with all of this?
Ah, we just do.
You do.
I do. I reckon.
We all do.
It's simply how it's done.
Moving On, Part Two: Frankly I can't stand it.
Stand what?
fafdffsdfdsfsfsfdsaf.
Need another example?
Last night in the midst of my constructing these eloquent words of wisdom, the Blogger guys or whoever is hired to support this process again refused me the privilege of previewing how this thing will look once I post.
I again run around editorless.
Oh bother.
Nothing new.
Last night I dozed trying desperately to finish two classes of short essays.
I figured it would be cake.
I began scratching and adding my wisdom to the scribbles of the students, but soon yawned, first silently, then sleepily, and finally to-the-point-of deathed-ly.
Some students have mastered the fine art of murdering their teachers through banality.
Anybody lookin'?
But enough of that. I got started, but after around three papers found myself slipping into a severe slumber.
I awakened somewhere around ten and realized I hadn't made a dent.
The clock spoke. It was right out of a Pixar movie.
"You've too many left to do, and you've run out of time."
And so it goes.
So it goes.
Fortunately I've a few brilliant sorts who can write with the wind. Thank heavens for them, and for their parents for teaching them to read and write.
There is hope for 2014. I think.
The clock continues to spoke.
Wish good things. I'm losing patience with all these Mondays. They have shot past my normal Nemesis, which is Tuesdays.
I'm over it. I'm goin' in. You go in too. Let's DO this. Fly low.
See you again.
Peace.
~H~
