Holy Thursday.
I suddenly have lots to do.
I've tried keeping paperwork to a minimum this week so that I could exact some much-needed rest.
The past two weeks are a blur.
But I made it to Holy Thursday.
I survived yet another meeting yesterday.
We've actually had back-to-back good meetings.
These from a guy who deplores meetings.
We were able to have feedback on what to teach next year.
I try to play it safe so I'll have three classes of sophomores and two of freshmen geniuses.
Oxymoron. M'bad.
Or so I've been told.
And I'll hopefully have a prep period an hour earlier this year. I went straight through and had a prep the last period of the day this year, which caused all sorts of eating and sleeping disorders.
I'll also share my prep period with my fellow friend and Grateful Dead aficionado Charlie.
Every now and again I call him Mr. Charlie.
He's also a drummer.
Thems is good news. He has trouble drumming these days because that happens sometimes to drummers.
I've heard him drum on a desk. The guy is lightning.
That's nice. Everything moved in a nice direction.
Maybe it was the red moon.
I just heard the wind chimes outside. I always assume that's my Mom letting me know things are gonna be all right.
She always was pretty good at that.
I'm still a little off my game.
Last night I had to write this nonsense in early evening.
I'm not really used to that.
So things are still a bit topsy turvy.
I just got spell checked. I got called out on "topsy turvy".
I beg yours.
That's the sort of thing that makes people a bit topsy turvy.
Push "ignore" button. I had it right. Their correction was this: "Topsy" for "topsy". Must be a specific topsy. And "curvy" for "torvy". Sounds like the name of a stripper. Let me do the spelling. I've misspelled some doozies. Whoops. "dogies". M' bad.
Anybody lookin'?
Moving On, Part One: It's garbage day once again.
I just wrote that so I would remember when I re-read this in the morning.
This morning, that is to say.
Holy Thursday.
AND garbage day.
Every day is now something.
I needs must purchase a new planner, one that has all these days in it.
Do they even make those?
fdafdfdfsadfsadfsdf.
It's right at my fingertips.
I'm thinking of doing some drama workshops today and tomorrow.
I might have my students play Questions from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
Tom Stoppard.
He and a fellow named Marc Norman wrote Shakespeare in Love.
That remains one of my favorite films ever.
That and Shrew.
Lots to do.
I gottago.
Have a lovely Holy Thursday.
Fly low.
See you again.
Peace.
~H~
