How is it already Wednesday?
Huh?
Uh...IS it Wednesday?
Ah, who knows.
I know.

See?

I just happen to be of an age where I am in a constant state of confusion.
Case in Point: On the way home last night I made lesson plans for a bazillion days due to Dad's tumble.
Mind you, he's tough guy.
But I also had to cover anything that might go down.
Don't get old.
Anyway, I knew I should probably prepare for anything that might fly at me.
Lots flew at me.
But I am tough guy's son, and sort of proud of it.
Except this: my Dad is a poem.
He defies all laws of the Universe.
Just between you and me, I like it.
I love my Dad.
I told him so. At the risk of repeating, his retort: "You were always my favorite son." For the uninitiated, I'm his only son.
No lie.
If time, I hope to retort, "You were always my favorite Dad."
If he lives for a bazillion more years, which IS possible, I will always love him for saying that.
And I will always dislike myself for plagiarizing his wit.
My feeling: he will live for a bazillion more years.

No lie.
faffdafddaaafff.
And he will remain courteous, as always, and not say a word about my theft.
He's tough guy AND intelligent guy.
And he's my Dad.
And I love him beyond words.
And he has amused and amazed anyone who ever was blessed by his goofiness, and by his wisdom.
I'm gonna visit him today, if all goes well.
It's going to be one of the toughest things any of us can imagine.
And I'm going to love that I did.
After all, I'm his favorite son, his own words.
Gee, this is hard.
Yeah.

It just is.

Thanks for listening.
You all rock.
I mean that.
Have a GREAT day.
Dad wants you to.
Keep us in your thoughts.
Gottago. I have a saloon to run.
See you again.
~H~
