5 October is a long haul. School always climbs all over me in November and then lightens up right around Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll be giving LOTS of thanks this year.

14 I'm goin' in. November is when JFK was assassinated. I may pull in Julius Caesar/JFK unit. I never put the two together as one unit before, although I did at one time wish to direct Caesar, believe it or not. I thought I would do it with a montage of famous people in history who have been assassinated projected on the cyc, and later, as Caesar makes his way to the pulpit, projecting a faded montage of the Dallas motorcade approaching Dealey.
15 I've students who are ducking for cover in fear of the Illuminaughty. For the record, that's how my students spell it. One kid was freaking out about all of it.
16 I kept the kid's hopes up. I told him that there are people who are on the trail of arresting those rogues. A lot more people are on to all of that stuff than ever before.
