12 It is a month of thanks.
13 I tend to underrate November. For one thing, I always suddenly have more time.
14 I always adore October because of the entire ghost/spiritual thing. With all of the interesting coincidences and all the annual craziness of Halloween, I tend to forget the grace with which November arrives.
15 I am especially thankful this year because we had to have two trees removed.
16 Every year I waste entire weekends raking leaves.
17 Not any more.
18 The change from October to November just became gentle. Grades went in day before yesterday. This means that I have gone from pushing two pack mules and a Sherpa up a mountain to holding one small packet accidentally lifted from an IEP meeting yesterday in the early afternoon.
19 I left the meeting, walked a few steps, looked down, and thought, "I don't need this."
20 Great philosophy.
21 Returned it and bounced.
22 I got in my car with just me. No papers. No stresses.
23 I pictured some old philosopher in his study spinning a sepia world globe, stopping it with wizard hands, and allowing me to step into the sunlight.

27 I wish I had some cheap sour mash to go with my cheap sour poetry.
28 Maybe I need some autumn leaves to create a poem containing no thought whatsoever.
29 I have to stop watching TCM. Last night was famous nurses night, complete with British accents and corny images.
30 All black and white, which is as it should be.
31 Ah, it is all as it should be.
32 K.T. and Nicoley, have an awesome time in Disneyland.
33 Say "Hi" to Dolly songs on Main Street, Mr. Lincoln, and all the hidden Mickeys.
